A highly decorated U.S. Army Special Forces combat veteran, Lieutenant Governor Collins embodies resilience and service. After losing his leg in combat, he returned to active duty as a Green Beret, completing over 23 years of military service. He later continued serving Americans nationwide through disaster relief and veteran-focused nonprofit work before answering the call to public service.

As a former Florida State Senator, Lieutenant Governor Collins passed 55+ pieces of legislation, secured over $120 million for Florida communities, and championed initiatives supporting veterans, first responders, agriculture, infrastructure, and education. Today, he brings leadership and vision to his role as Florida’s 21st Lieutenant Governor.
